Interpretation, 2022 The project was created using the recording taken from Google Maps and the visual translation feature of the Google Translate application. A mixed video containing different language groups is created and instantly translated into Turkish. ‘’Geography is also subject to translation. They contribute to the reification of their own visual cultures by quoting the signs of these signs and subjecting them to aesthetic repair. Therefore, they appear as images that reify themselves and carry out their own exploitation.’’ The basis of this project is based on the axis of translation. Elements belonging to a local visual or philosophical culture are transferred from the fixed traditional world in which they are coded to a universe in motion and under the gaze of a critical reading. By focusing on the problems that arise during this transfer, it tries to open up a field of inquiry again through reality and the digital world.
